A “Guinness” World Record School Trip

Last March, the class 3 A LL (Linguistic High School) went to Dublin for a linguistc stage; students stayed there for a week. During this experience, the class went to Dublin City University and took part in five english lessons. In the free time, the group visited museums, like National Museum of Ireland and National Gallery of Ireland; churches as Christ Church Cathedral and St. Mary’s Cathedral. The last day of this trip, teachers rewarded the guys with a visit at the Guinness Brewery… they really enjoyed it!
Now get a taste of this experience with us…

So let’s go inside the Guinness Brewery…

Your trip to Ireland is not complete without visiting Dublin’s #1 tourist attraction. While in Dublin, you can learn all about Guinness’ rich history. As you walk through each floor you will learn what goes into making a perfect pint of Guinness.

Try not to lose this fantastic experience even if you don’t like beer that much!

The ground floor tells the story of the beer’s four ingredients:

  • water
  • barley
  • hops
  • yeast

The brewery tour starts in the largest beer glass in the world. It would take 14.3 million pints to fill the giant glass atrium in the centre of the Guinness Storehouse building.

Better not drink it in one gulp!

It all began with mr. Arthur: a man with such a belief in his beer that he stamped his family name on it. Over two hundred years later, we’re still honouring his legacy.
